Fuzion ConstructWorks
Turn drawings, specifications, submittals, and correspondence into governed, searchable content with AI-assisted intake and configurable document workflows.
The Works Suite is developed by Fuzion Consulting Group, a member of Fuzion Companies. Sister company Fuzion Chickasaw Group shares enterprise applications within the family.
Where it fits in Fuzion Companies
ConstructWorks is the document-control member of The Works Suite, developed by Fuzion Consulting Group and shared across the Fuzion Companies family with Fuzion Chickasaw Group. Its hosting model differs from the suite's Microsoft-tenant offerings: it is delivered as a Fuzion-hosted or customer-Azure PaaS. It turns drawings, specifications, submittals, and correspondence into governed, searchable content with AI-assisted intake and configurable document workflows.
Buyer outcomes
What it helps your team do.
- 01
Make intake usable
AI document understanding classifies incoming content and extracts fields into structured metadata for retrieval and routing.
- 02
Match the program's document practice
Configure forms, naming conventions, taxonomies, and approval rules around the records your team actually uses.
- 03
Follow correspondence through resolution
RFI, submittal, approval, and transmittal registers track due dates, response ownership, and event history.
Illustrative workflow, not a customer case study
How the work moves.
- Step 1
A document-control team receives a drawing package or submittal.
- Step 2
Classification and extraction populate metadata; configured rules route the record for review.
- Step 3
The team tracks approval and transmission history and retrieves the governed record for later project decisions.
Before you select scope
Deployment, licensing, and scope.
Hosting, integration, and licensing options differ by product across the Fuzion Companies portfolio. These details are confirmed during discussion.
Deployment
Fuzion-hosted PaaS or customer-Azure PaaS, with Fuzion managing the application platform. In customer Azure, the customer retains its data perimeter and IT governance. Discuss Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Bluebeam, SAP, Maximo, Power BI, and API integration scope.
Licensing
Modular licensing supports selected capabilities. Forms, workflows, metadata, taxonomies, and AI models are configurable; implementation and integration work are scoped with the customer.
Important qualification
Confirm the included modules, AI validation approach, integration scope, and delivery timing during procurement. Workflow alignment is not product certification, and no nuclear compliance certification is claimed.
Questions and answers
Asked before every evaluation.
- Do our document naming conventions have to change?
- The platform is designed for configurable metadata, taxonomies, forms, and AI classification. Bring representative documents and naming rules to a fit discussion rather than assuming every practice is supported without configuration.
- Who manages a customer-Azure deployment?
- Fuzion manages the application platform while the customer retains its Azure data perimeter and IT governance. Responsibilities and prerequisites are agreed during procurement.
- Is AI intake a substitute for document review?
- No. Define validation and approval responsibilities with your document-control team. AI classification and extraction support intake; your organization remains accountable for approved records.
