Buyer outcomes
What it helps your team do.
- 01
Compare the long-range plan
Build CapEx and O&M forecasts over 5-, 10-, and 20-year horizons, compare scenarios, and prioritize investments.
- 02
Connect delivery to the ledger
Track cash-flow curves, earned-value cost and schedule measures, risks, and change orders alongside the forecast.
- 03
Keep finance in the approval loop
Accounting and funding gateways support budget transactions and journal batches with finance sign-off before posting.
- 04
Coordinate specialized utility work
Outage planning and compliance-tracking modules support review records for applicable NERC CIP and nuclear workflows; module fit depends on the program.
Illustrative workflow, not a customer case study
How the work moves.
- Step 1
A planning team compares investment scenarios across a multi-year capital horizon.
- Step 2
Project-controls leads reconcile changes and risks against the forecast and outage milestones.
- Step 3
Finance reviews the approved forecast and gateway transactions before an ERP posting.
Before you select scope
Deployment, licensing, and scope.
Hosting, integration, and licensing options differ by product across the Fuzion Companies portfolio. These details are confirmed during discussion.
Deployment
Discuss SaaS or a private Microsoft tenant with identity, role-based access, MFA, and audit requirements. Review SAP, Oracle, Maximo, Microsoft 365, Power BI, Excel export, and API connectivity against your selected modules.
Licensing
Modular licensing allows a selected combination of forecasting, controls, outage, compliance-tracking, finance, reporting, security, and lessons-learned capabilities. Confirm dependencies and implementation scope.
Important qualification
Native iOS and Android apps are not current capabilities. Compliance workflows support screening and review; they do not establish regulatory compliance or a nuclear compliance certification. Confirm module scope and delivery timing with Fuzion.
Questions and answers
Asked before every evaluation.
- Is ProjectWorks only for utility programs?
- Utilities are a central audience, including applicable nuclear and outage workflows. Capital forecasting and controls may fit other asset-intensive organizations; specialized modules are not assumed to suit every industry.
- Can forecast data go to finance systems?
- The brief describes accounting and funding gateways and SAP, Oracle, and Maximo connectivity. Confirm system versions, transaction mappings, approval controls, and integration scope before deployment.
- Are native mobile apps included?
- No. Native iOS and Android apps are roadmap scope, not current features.
